Album: Five Horse Johnson - "Blues For Henry"

If you enjoy heavy blues-rock and have never listened to Five Horse Johnson I can safely say that you are seriously missing out. Their debut album, "Blues For Henry", is the cream of the FHJ crop and could possibly be the most fun you'll ever have while listening to the blues (except for that I can't really call this a pure blues album since it has way too much of a heavy rocking edge for that.) This is easily one of my favorite albums to listen to while sitting out in the sun with a cold drink as it's really easy to listen to, with a really steady rolling groove and fun, tongue in cheek lyrics like: "Saturday night and the devil whiskey's preaching hard, church on Sunday I'm spewing up sermons in the yard". Rock and roll.

1. Let Me In

3. Sermons in the Yard
4. Candystore
5. Honeycomb
6. Wishing Well
7. Roscoe Gauldin
8. Odella
